Bo Thao: Becoming Minnesotan

Bo Thao is the daughter of Mai Vang Thao. She was born in Luang Phrabang, Laos in 1974. She is a Stripe Hmong. Her family immigrated to the United States in December 1979. She has a bachelor’s degree in Family Social Science. At the time of the interview, she worked for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and was working on her Master’s degree.
