The Civil War Letters of the Christie Brothers is a curated set of some of the many letters written by Thomas, William and Alexander Christie during their Civil War service. The letters, which comment on not only the war but also the politics and social climate of the 1860s, are a window into the lives of soldiers. The collection is searchable by author, location and date range. Letters are shown in their original form and also as transcriptions, to make them easier to read.
