University of Minnesota's women's suffrage club
Many colleges and universities had suffrage clubs or equality clubs. The legal voting age at the time was 21, so many of these young women would be directly impacted by women's suffrage. Much of the suffrage movement was also led by upper-class women, and most women enrolled in college at this time were more affluent.
The suffrage banner reads "Not Privilege but Justice." The women are carrying flags that read Minnesota or Minneapolis.
