Biography
Adele O.M. Koke was born in 1874 in New Ulm, Minnesota to miller Fred C. Koke and his wife Anna, both German immigrants. Adele was the second of five children.

Adele married Adolph Olson Eberhart in 1898 in Mankato, Minnesota. The couple had five children: Alberta Louise, Dorothy Anna, Eugene Stanley, Gertrude Helen and Herbert Carl.

Eberhart assumed the office of governor in 1909 following the death of Gov. John Johnson due to complications following stomach surgery. As first lady, Adele's focus appears to have been home and family.

Adele Eberhart passed away of a heart attack in 1945 at the age of 70. She is buried with her husband, who died in 1944, in Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
