Martha 1900-1923
A first name, a location on a label, a wedding gown and two evening dresses are all the clues that remain of this business. The wedding dress was worn in 1920 and the evening gowns date from the 1910s. Martha, it appears operated in Minneapolis for at least five years. Her clients include some of the same Minneapolis social elite that frequented the city's other fashionable dressmakers.
