Post-Depositional Impacts

Apart from the natural erosional properties of wave and ice to the submerged wreckage, the George Spencer is relatively intact. While no evidence of recent salvage activity was observed on the submerged section, such as fastener removal, the beached hull section on the north end of the beach had recent evidence of chainsaw activity.
