The growth and development of the Upper Midwest Women's History Center is an important chapter in the history of efforts to expand and influence research and curriculum in high schools and other educational forums in the United States. The project includes interviews with ten people whose work and influence were critical to the Center's history. The focus of the project is the UMWHC as an organization; its history, programs, adaptation to changing times, and the key personalities who formed and led its operations.
